Great Shows Coming Soon!

I would like to draw your attention to two wonderful evenings of entertainment, for which tickets are now available. All staff are entitled to a free ticket so if you would like one please email me and I will sort you out a complimentary one through Positickets. If you are buying tickets for other people you can do this yourself if you go onto the Positicket website- however if you want a complimentary one for yourself and also tickets for friends/family and you all want to sit together I am afraid that you will have to come and see me with the money as you won’t have access to the complimentary ticket option yourself. I hope this makes sense! I’m sure they will both be wonderful evenings and tickets are already selling quickly!
Tickets are priced £8 for Adults and £4 for Students for both shows.

The evening is a showcase of the many achievements of our busy senior ensembles this year, but is also an opportunity to celebrate and thank our talented musical leavers. The programme will feature performances from the Symphony Orchestra, Senior String Orchestra and Concert Band, Jazz Band, Cantorum, Chamber Choir, Gospel Choir, Chapel Choir, and the Borlase Madriguys, as well as chamber music items. Year 13 musicians will also bid us farewell with their much-anticipated leavers’ medley.

Jazz Night

I am delighted to tell you about our forthcoming Jazz Night. Following the success of last years ‘Christmas Cabaret Night’, the Borlase Jazz scene is turning the Theatre into the ‘Borlase Bluenote Club’ to celebrate 75 years of the famous American Jazz Recording label ‘Bluenote Records’. This exciting event is being organised by Aaron Bhalla in Year 13 and will feature the Borlase Jazz band plus guests.

So chase the January Blues away and come and join us to experience the best of Borlase Jazz. There will be a fully licensed bar throughout the event and in addition nibbles will be provided at your table.
