Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School

Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School is a selective co-educational 11-18 school for around one thousand students, of which approximately 380 are in the Sixth Form. Borlase was founded in 1624 and is still on its original site, close to the centre of Marlow. In 2011 the school converted to Academy status, operating as as a Company limited by guarantee, managed by a Board of Trustees and by its governing body.

We have an excellent academic record, placing well on a variety of national league tables. Our outstanding facilities include a Dance Studio, Theatre, Recording Studio,  Science Labs, a Drama Studio, Sixth Form Centre, Design & Technology facilities including a new Food Technology area and an on-site coffee shop.
